Penelope Bartlau

Penelope Bartlau is an established multi-disciplinary artist who creates immersive experiences through installation art, visual performance, puppetry, and creative writing. She devises image-based experiences that activate audiences. Her works inspire awe, wonder, and curiosity. She aims to make us feel differently about the world and question what we think about time, place and fact.

Penelope has worked with Barking Spider Creative since 2006. She lives and creates on the unceded lands of the Gulidjan and Gadubanud peoples.
